Privacy Policy for ROKA

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how ROKA ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with your use of the ROKA mobile application, available on the Apple App Store.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. ROKA is designed to be a fully offline, self-contained word classification game. It does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or personally identifiable information (PII).

2. Data We Collect

ROKA does not collect any data.

The App does not gather, process, or transmit any of the following:

Personal information (such as name, email address, phone number, or date of birth)
Device identifiers (such as IDFA, IDFV, or serial number)
Usage data, gameplay statistics, or behavioral analytics
Location data
Photos, contacts, calendar entries, or any other device content
Financial or payment information
Health or fitness data
Browsing history or search history
Crash logs or diagnostics (beyond what Apple may collect at the OS level)

All gameplay data — including the current word deck, score, and round results — exists exclusively in the device's working memory during an active session. This data is automatically and permanently discarded when the session ends or the app is closed.

3. How We Collect Data

We do not collect data through any mechanism, including but not limited to:

Network requests or API calls (the App has no internet connectivity)
Local device storage (no use of UserDefaults, CoreData, file system writes, or iCloud)
Device sensors or hardware access (no permissions requested for camera, microphone, location, or contacts)
Third-party tracking or analytics SDKs

4. Third-Party Services and SDKs

ROKA does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics platforms, advertising networks, crash reporting tools, or external services of any kind.

The App uses only Apple's built-in system frameworks:

SwiftUI — user interface
UIKit — orientation management
Foundation — core data types
Combine — reactive state management

These are Apple operating system frameworks and are subject exclusively to Apple's Privacy Policy.

Because no third-party code is integrated into the App, there are no third-party partners with access to user data, and no data-sharing agreements are in place or required.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Since ROKA does not collect or store any user data, there is no data to retain and no deletion process is necessary.

Retention period: None. No data persists beyond the active app session.
Deletion request: Not applicable. No user data exists on our systems or on your device after the session ends.

If you wish to remove all traces of the App from your device, simply uninstalling ROKA via the standard iOS process is sufficient. No additional steps are required.

6. User Consent and Rights

Because no personal data is collected, concepts such as consent withdrawal, data access requests, data portability, or data rectification do not apply to ROKA.

7. Children's Privacy

ROKA does not knowingly collect any information from any users, including children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). Since the App collects no data whatsoever, it is safe for users of all ages from a data-privacy perspective.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or applicable law. Any changes will be published here with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
